The one I took during my testing process consisted of about 900 questions, many of which were asked multiple times to determine how consistent you are with your answers. The questions are common sense type questions that normal people will give normal answers to. After your test, you might be scheduled to meet w/ the department psychiatrist to discuss one or maybe more of your answers (depending on how you answered them).
Being that the test is lengthy, you might mis-read questions, get fatigued and so forth, but just grin and bear it.

I took the MMPI test (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory) which is about 900 questions long. Asks the same question numerous times but with different wordings. After that I spoke to a physicist.
